To get the most out of your Resume Review, we recommend using the Teacher Career Transition Academy’s resume template and applying the foundational strategies taught in the Academy’s Resume Workshops. This ensures your draft is built on best practices—so your coach can focus on refining and elevating what’s already there.

Great question! If you already have a strong draft and just want expert feedback and refinements, the Resume Review & Refinement session is the best fit. If you’re starting from scratch—or your current resume needs a full overhaul—the Resume Strategy & Build package provides hands-on support across two sessions. If you’re still not sure, reach out to our team and we can guide you!
What should I have ready before my session?
For Resume Review & Refinement, you’ll submit your resume draft and a link to a job description that you’re targeting. For Resume Strategy & Build, you’ll complete a short questionnaire about your background and goals so we can tailor the coaching to your career path.
I’m not a Teacher Career Transition Academy member. Can I still book a session?
Yes! All services are open to non-members. However, Academy members receive discounted pricing on all 1:1 coaching packages. The membership provides ongoing support, tools, and access to live coaching sessions—so you’re never navigating this transition alone. Many members use these 1:1 sessions to go deeper on a specific area while continuing to receive guidance and accountability through the Academy.
Will the coach write my resume for me?
Not entirely—but they’ll work with you to shape it step by step. Our goal is to empower you with the skills and confidence to update your resume long after this session. Your coach will guide, edit, rephrase, and even help craft strong bullet points—but you’ll collaborate together to make sure the final version reflects your voice and goals. Think of it as building a skill, not just getting a document.
What if I need more help after my 1:1 resume session?
You’re not alone—career transitions take time, and we’re here for the long haul. If you need additional support after your session, you can book another 1:1, explore one of our coaching packages, or consider joining the Teacher Career Transition Academy for ongoing access to tools, trainings, and live coaching. We’ll help you figure out the next best step based on where you are in your journey.
What if I need to cancel or change my coaching session?
While we don’t offer refunds for 1:1 coaching services, we’re happy to provide a credit that can be applied toward another service or a membership in the Teacher Career Transition Academy.
