Webinar Host & Event Moderator (Part-Time | Remote)
Are you a current or former teacher with an engaging personality and a passion for helping other educators explore new career paths?
We’re looking for a warm, confident communicator to join our team as a Webinar Host & Event Moderator.
This role is perfect for someone who loves being in front of the camera, thrives on meaningful conversation, and enjoys creating supportive virtual spaces for fellow teachers. From hosting live interviews to moderating behind the scenes, you'll help bring our community events to life.
About Us
The Teacher Career Transition Academy is the go-to resource for teachers exploring new career paths beyond the classroom. We offer coaching, training, and community to help educators navigate career change with clarity and confidence. Our live events, resume support, and expert-led sessions are designed specifically for teachers—by people who truly understand the journey.
What You'll Do:
🎙 Host Live Teacher Chats (on camera)
- Lead our signature webinar events where we interview teachers who’ve successfully transitioned to new careers
- Be the host on camera—welcoming guests, engaging the audience, and facilitating Q&A
- Keep the tone fun, relatable, and encouraging for fellow teachers navigating career change
🎤 Moderate Guest Speaker Webinars (on camera or mic)
- Introduce guest experts and keep sessions running smoothly
- Ask follow-up questions and manage transitions
- Make sure both speakers and attendees feel supported and engaged
💬 Chat Support & Behind-the-Scenes Event Moderation
- Provide real-time support in the chat during events (off-camera)
- Answer questions, cheer attendees on, and help manage the flow
- Handle basic tech questions and support the event team behind the scenes
📅 When We Need You:
- Every Saturday morning (events typically run from 10–11 AM or 11–12 PM ET, with pre- and post-event time)
- Weeknight evenings (typically 7–8 PM ET, a few times per month)
- Expect around 4–6 hours per week, with consistent Saturday work and occasional weekday events
💵 Compensation:
- $18–$20/hour depending on experience
- Part-time, contract role with flexible scheduling based on event calendar
- Are a current or former teacher who relates to our community
- Have an energetic, friendly on-camera presence
- Feel confident leading conversations and engaging with virtual audiences
- Are reliable, organized, and familiar with Zoom or other webinar tools

Part-Time Marketing Coordinator
About Us
The Teacher Career Transition Academy is a mission-drive, growing startup dedicated to helping teachers successfully navigate career transitions. We’re a passionate, entrepreneurial team that values innovation, independence, and results. As we expand, we’re looking for a Part-Time Marketing Coordinator who is as passionate about digital marketing as they are about helping teachers.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a creative and results-driven Part-Time Marketing Coordinator to join our team as a part-time contractor. In this role, you’ll be working directly with one of our Co-Founders and will be responsible for helping us create and execute marketing strategies that build our sales pipeline, increase customer engagement, and support our growth goals.
This is a part-time, contactor position requiring approximately 20 hours per week.
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and thrives working independently with minimal supervision.
If you are passionate about digital marketing, love helping teachers, and are excited about making an impact in a growing, mission-driven organization, we'd love to hear from you.
Project Examples:
• Lead Magnets: Design and create lead magnets for our sales funnel, and the accompanying marketing collateral around them
• Influencer & Content Creator Program: Help us create a program to engage with content creators to grow our brand
• Email Marketing: Develop a wide range of email campaigns, from welcome streams and customer journeys to webinar events and more!
• Podcast Outreach: Identify relevant podcasts, secure guest interview opportunities, and manage reciprocal partnerships.
• Webinar Events: Create images, emails, and promotional materials to drive webinar registrations
What We’re Looking For
• Someone with 2+ years of experience in digital marketing who can hit the ground running.
• Must love teachers.
• Please no agencies: due to the dynamic nature of this role, we’re looking for an individual contributor.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Experience working with teachers or within the education space is strongly preferred.

We’re seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our team as a part-time contractor. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies that build our sales pipeline, increase customer engagement, and support our growth goals. This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time role.
