Marketing Manager (Part Time, Contractor)
About Us
The Teacher Career Transition Academy is a growing startup dedicated to helping teachers successfully navigate career transitions. We’re a passionate, entrepreneurial team that values innovation, independence, and results. As we expand, we’re looking for a Marketing Manager to help drive demand generation and take our marketing efforts to the next level.
Position Overview
We’re seeking a creative and results-driven Marketing Manager to join our team as a part-time contractor. In this role, you’ll be responsible for creating and executing marketing strategies that build our sales pipeline, increase customer engagement, and support our growth goals. This is a part-time position requiring 20 hours per week, with the potential to grow into a full-time role.
The ideal candidate is entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and thrives working independently with minimal supervision. If you’ve successfully driven demand generation marketing in the past and are excited about making an impact in a growing organization, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities
• Digital Marketing Campaigns: Design and execute campaigns to generate leads and build a robust sales pipeline.
• Influencer & Content Creator Program: Develop and execute partnerships with influencers and content creators to promote our mission.
• Omni-Channel Promotions: Plan and execute campaigns that drive attendance for webinars and events.
• Lead Magnets: Create and promote resources to attract leads and convert them into customers.
• Email Marketing: Develop email welcome streams and customer journeys to improve customer usage and renewal rates.
• Market Research: Conduct research to understand customer needs, trends, and preferences to inform marketing strategies.
• Podcast Outreach: Identify relevant podcasts, secure guest interview opportunities, and manage reciprocal partnerships.
What We’re Looking For
• Proven experience in demand generation marketing with measurable results.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and take initiative.
• Creative thinker who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong background in digital marketing, including email, social media, and content marketing.
• Experience working with teachers or within the education space is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with eCommerce and B2C demand generation
• Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.

After this, she worked in HR Research at Aon Hewitt and attained her Technology MBA at NYU Stern. For the past four years, she has taught instructional design courses with the Instructional Technology Program at Touro University within the Graduate School of Technology.
