You’ve heard the phrase growth mindset before—but what does it actually mean when you’re trying to leave the classroom?
In this episode of Beyond the Classroom, Lisa Harding breaks down the real research behind growth mindset, where the concept came from, and why it’s especially important for teachers navigating a career transition. We’ll talk about what growth mindset is (and what it isn’t), why teachers often struggle to apply it to their own careers, and how shifting from a performance mindset to a learning mindset can change everything about your job search experience.
If you’re feeling stuck, behind, or frustrated that you don’t have clarity yet, this episode will help you understand why—and what to do instead.
