Career Transitioning Teacher:
Marketing Internship (Remote/Part-time)
LearnWorld, creators of the Teacher Career Transition Academy, is offering an exceptional marketing internship for a transitioning teacher to gain valuable work experience and explore a potential new career path, while making a significant impact on our business growth.
We are dedicated to helping teachers make career transition, and our internship program supports that mission.
This internship offers an exceptional chance for a career transitioning educator to gain practical experience and develop valuable skills.
It is a remote position, allowing for flexibility, with a target of around 15 working hours per week (we can work with your schedule!).
We are seeking a dedicated Marketing Intern to support our marketing efforts by contributing to the development, execution, and analysis of a variety of marketing programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, write, edit, and design captivating email campaigns, ensuring adherence to brand guidelines and maintaining a high level of professionalism. (No coding skills necessary)
- Schedule and send emails using our marketing automation platform using meticulous attention to detail.
- Support the execution and tracking of email marketing campaigns to optimize results.
- Assist in the production and promotion of engaging content, including free eBooks, resource guides, and webinars.
- Play a vital role in engaging our target audience of career transitioning teachers on social media.
- Collaborate with our experienced and nimble team on various tasks as needed.
- Contribute to the overall marketing strategy and brainstorm creative ideas.
- Design attractive graphics for courses, resources, and promotions using Canva.
- Other marketing or business support tasks as they pop up.
Requirements:
- Current or former K12 educator in the USA
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, ensuring clear and effective messaging.
- Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all marketing materials.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and adept at managing multiple tasks and deadlines.
- A creative thinker with a genuine passion for marketing, eager to learn and grow.
- Availability to work an average of 15 hours per week.
- Possession of a personal computer and reliable internet connection.
- Ability to commit to a minimum of 3 months for the internship duration.
Nice to have (but not required):
- Experience using mass email programs such as Mailchimp to send or create emails.
- Experience managing brand or influencer social media accounts.
- Exposure to marketing strategies or techniques.
- Experience using Canva.
